Sanaz Haghshenas founded Rooted Spaces after years of hands-on experience caring for, studying, and designing with live plants. What started as a deep personal passion grew into a full-service studio rooted in Austin, Texas — one built on the belief that every space, home or office, is made better by the thoughtful presence of living plants.
Sanaz brings hands-on knowledge of plant health, growing conditions, and interior environments to every client engagement. She designs environments that are beautiful on day one and continue to grow and improve over time. At Rooted Spaces, the goal is never just to add greenery, it is to create a space that feels meaningfully different because of it
